The all-new Dream for All Program BY CAL HFA.
For full details, visit the cal HFA website
This brand new financing program just offered to front you 20% down on your first home!

That being said, it comes at a hefty cost.

The Dream for All program is an exciting new initiative that aims to make homeownership more accessible for underserved communities throughout California.
What's particularly exciting about this program is that it offers a range of support services to borrowers, including homebuyer education courses, financial counseling, and credit coaching. These resources can help borrowers build the skills and knowledge necessary to achieve and maintain successful homeownership.
If you're interested in buying a home but have struggled to find financing or support in the past, I highly recommend checking out this program to see if it's a good fit for you.

  • Be a first-time homebuyer. See the definition of a first-time homebuyer.
  • Occupy the property as a primary residence; non-occupant co-borrowers are not allowed.
  • CalHFA borrowers must complete two levels of homebuyer education counseling and obtain a certificate of completion through an eligible homebuyer counseling organization.
  • Meet CalHFA income limits for this program.
Now for the 20% down we’ve all been waiting for.

Here’s the deal

  • Dream For All provides a loan for 20% of the home purchase price.
  • The homeowner pays back the original loan amount plus 15%-20% of any appreciation in the value of the home.
This could be an immensely incredible opportunity for some to get into home ownership. that being said, it’s certainly not for everyone and you should absolutely talk to a professional loan specialist to get the full scoop based on your specific scenario.
